The She Matters Story

Perhaps you were born for such a time as this - Esther 4:14

The She Matters journey started about 2 years ago. I didn't quite know what it would look like, how I would do it, or even what the name would be. God placed this dream on my heart, but at that point that's all it was. I daydreamed about it and laid in bed at night thinking about what it would look like, but I never implemented anything. I would get excited and start planning for it just to turn around and get discouraged. There were days I would TRY to quit, to just give up, but my sweet husband was my biggest support and pushed me beyond anything I could have ever done for myself.

Fast forward a year and that's when it really hit me. I was going on a morning walk and just spending some time with Jesus. Everything I was scrolling through on instagram, everything popping up in my emails and newsfeed, everything I was reading in my devotionals and books was pointing to the same thing: Jesus. It may sound so cliché, but I felt this peace over me. It was almost as if I finally knew what She Matters was supposed to be, and I knew this was going to be a journey I wanted to be on.

We are put on this Earth to reach people for Him and to show this world love. What better way to do so than to encourage and equip women to do just that? Our hope is that at the heart of whatever you are looking for, you find Jesus there.

We would love for you to take this journey with us, but I'm going to stop right here because this story is just beginning and we hope you keep coming back to read more about the She Matters story. (to be continued) ;]]

  • I love the fact that God gave you a dream and that you not only dreamed of it, but you put action behind it. We can’t be hearers of the Word only, but we must be doers as well. I pray that GOD will bless your ministry and that women all over the world will be encouraged and blessed by blogs you write. I’m glad that I found you through a friend on instagram.
    Thank you kindly,
